Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 2pm from the Hallettsville United Methodist Church, in Hallettsville, Tx. Visitation will be from 5 to 7pm on Friday from the Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home, in Schulenburg. Interment will be in the Lakeside Cemetery in Eagle Lake, Tx. Survivors include: daughters-Nova New Layton/husband Ronnie; Gail New Gertson/husband Darrell; sons-Charles Ed New/wife Patsy; Terry Wayne Wills/wife Barbara; Benton O. New/wife Carol, 24 grandchildren and 47 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, husbands, daughter and grandson.
