The funeral services for Mrs. Linda Hinkel, age 64 of Houston, Texas, will be held from the St. Rose Catholic Church in Schulenburg, Texas, on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 10 am.

Visitation will begin at 5 pm on Wednesday, October 22, with the Parish rosary to be recited Wednesday evening at 7 pm from the Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home in Schulenburg.

Interment will be in the St. Rose Catholic Cemetery in Schulenburg.

The family requests donations be made to the St. Rose Catholic Church, Schulenburg, Texas, or a charity of one's choice.

Survivors include: mother-Mrs. Edna Michalke of Schulenburg; husband-Oscar "Chip" Hinkel, Jr. of Houston; daughter-Melanie Gray and husband Robert of Beaumont; sons-Brian Hinkel and wife Tiffany of Jersey Village and Justin Hinkel and wife Shelly of Coushatta, Louisiana; brother- Arnold Michalke and wife Diane of Chantilly, Virginia; and 1 granddaughter.

She is preceded in death by her father, Otto and a sister, Debbie.
