Lonnie William Pettit passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at the age of 70. He was born on November 6, 1952, in Houston to parents, Bill and Betty Pettit. Growing up in a musical family perfected his craft of musicianship, and he will be remembered by all for his immense musical talent.

Lonnie is survived by his siblings, Darryl Pettit and wife Gigi, Kari Ginn and husband John, and Garrett Pettit; nieces and nephew, Tif, Brit, and Warren; as well as many friends and bandmates.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A party celebrating his life with lots of music will be held at a later date.
