Services for Lorene Martha Hengst, age 91, of Schulenburg, will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Rose Catholic Church in Schulenburg. Entombment will follow in St. Rose Cemetery.

The family will receive friends beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 with the parish rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. at Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home in Schulenburg.

Lorene is survived by her children, Diane Johnson, Maggie and Freddie Walker, Ronnie and Tracie Hengst, Randy and Billie Hengst; grandchildren, Kelli and Henry Nieto, Casey and Justin Powell, Christina and Adam Seppala, Caitlin Hengst; great grandchildren, Kevin Nieto, Natalie Nieto, J.J. Powell, Scarlett Seppala, and Kinsley Seppala.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Hengst; brother, Leon Fiedler; sister, Olga Buchhorn; and grandson, Kevin Walker.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Rose Catholic Church.
