The funeral services for Mrs. Marie O. Skarke, age 91 of Schulenburg, Texas, will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 11 am from the St. Rose Catholic Church in Schulenburg, Texas. The Parish Rosary will be recited prior to the funeral mass at 10:30 am. Visitation will begin to the public after 9:30 am from the St. Rose Catholic Church. Interment will be in the St. Rose Catholic Cemetery.

Survivors include: 3 daughters--Janis Pipilas and husband, Dan of Schulenburg, Kathy Stiles of Dallas, Paula Watson and husband, Scott of San Antonio; 4 brothers--Alfred Schindler and wife, Cathy of Columbus, Leroy Schindler and wife, Rosemary of Schulenburg, Frank Schindler and wife, Jerelyn of Bastrop, Doc Schindler and wife, Hilda of San Antonio; 3 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Rosa Kasper Schindler and by her husband, Wilbert Skarke.
