Marilyn Palmquist, of Hallettsville, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the age 77.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Palmquist; and parents, Edward J. and Millie Vrana Berger.

Marilyn is survived by her son, Neil Palmquist (Vonnie); daughter, Mariah Palmquist (Tirrell); daughter, Cassandra Palmquist; grandchildren, Ean, Brayden, Timiya, Traesyn, and Isabel; and sisters, Janice Berger Jorgensen and Linda Berger Hamblin.

Memorial services will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church in Moravia. The family will receive friends beginning at 9:00 a.m. with the parish rosary to be recited at 10:00 a.m. from the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of South Texas.
