Funeral services will be held from the St. Michael's Catholic Church in Weimar, Texas on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 10 am.

Visitation will begin to the public at the Church beginning at 8:30 am Thursday, with the Parish rosary to be recited prior to the mass at 9:30 am.

Interment will be private (family only) in the Freyburg Methodist Cemetery in Freyburg, Texas.

The family requests donations be made to:  the St. Michael's Catholic Church or School, Weimar, Texas; or the Brazos Valley Hospice; or the Gardenia Jassen Animal Shelter; or a charity of one's choice.

Survivors include:  wife-Leera Guettermann Janecka; sons-Shane Anthony Janecka/wife Jessica of Freyburg and Trent Aaron Janecka/fiancee Hollie Schrader of Carmine; brothers-Jerry Janecka/wife Billye, Chris Janecka/wife Jill, Chad Janecka/wife Catherine, Art Janecka/wife Rita, Kevin Janecka/wife Martha, and Keith Janecka all of Weimar; sisters-Sr. Valerie Janecka of Victoria, Phyllis Swinney/husband Chip of San Antonio, Charlotte (Shorty) Barton/husband Harvey, Sue Spence/husband Charles, and Lisa Ervin/husband Ryder all of Weimar; father and mother-in-law-Franklin and Bonita Guettermann of Schulenburg; sisters-in-law- Donna Cozzaglio/husband Todd of Muldoon, Cynthia Rinchiuso/husband Nick of Katy, and Debbie Fromberg/husband Tommy of Germany; brother-in-law-Franklin Holbeck/wife Tina of Germany; 2 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and  2 brothers-Allen and Kim.
