Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 10am from the Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home, in Schulenburg. Visitation will begin to the public after 5pm on Friday, with the Schulenburg VFW memorial services at 6:30pm from the funeral Home. Interment will be in the Schulenburg City Cemetery, Schulenburg, with full military honors conducted by the Schulenburg VFW and American Legion. The family has requested donations be made to: The Fayette County A&M Club, La Grange, Tx or The Gardenia Jassen Animal Shelter, La Grange or a charity of one's choice. Survivors include: daughter-Bonnie Kay Witt/husband Gary of Houston; sons-Glen Ray Cernik/wife Sophie Mae of Moravia; Clinton Lee Cernik of Taylor; 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife-Georgie Mae and 1 brother.
