The funeral services for Mrs. Mary Carroll Snow, age 92 of Schulenburg, Texas, will be held from the St. Mary's Catholic Church in High Hill, Texas, on Friday, June 27. 2014 at 11:30 am. Visitation will begin to the public after 5 pm on Thursday, June 26, with the Parish rosary to be recited at 7 pm from the Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home in Schulenburg. Interment will be in the National Cemetery in Houston, Texas on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at 10 am.
Born to Owen J. Carroll and Isabel Mary Carroll at Jackson Barracks New Orleans on August 3, 1921. She married Houston A. Snow, Jr. on August 7, 1944. He preceded her in death in 1982, in addition to brothers, Owen J. Carroll, Jr, Byron Carroll, Frances Carroll and a great-grandson Maxwell Horne. She is survived by her children, Linda Schmidt and husband Ralph of Schulenburg, Jeanne Snow of Vancouver, WA, Lisbeth Barrett and husband Walter of Austin, Michael Snow and wife Karen of Schulenburg and Mary McNichols and her husband Gary of Woodland, WA, 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Mary is also survived by a sister Audrey C. Carroll of College Station. Mary is a 1939 graduate of Ursuline Academy in Galveston. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
