The funeral services for Mr. Melvin Schilhab, age 76 of Schulenburg, Texas, will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 10 am from the St. Rose Catholic Church in Schulenburg, Texas.

Visitation will begin to the public after 5 pm on Friday, April 24, 2015, with the Parish rosary to be recited at 7 pm from the Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home in Schulenburg.

Interment will be in Praha Catholic Cemetery in Praha, Texas.

Survivors include: wife-Georgie Schilhab; daughters-Kathryn Johnson of Pasadena and Kelly Henson of Friendswood; sons-Rodney Schilhab of Houston, Brian Schilhab of Houston, and Scott Schilhab/wife Cindy of Pearland; brothers-Wayne Schilhab/wife Gladys of Channelview and Calvin Schilhab of Hutto; 14 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters; and 1 brother.
