Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 11 am from St. Mary's Catholic Church in High Hill, Texas.

Visitation will begin at the Church after 9 am Saturday, with the Parish rosary to be recited at 10:30 am.

Inurnment will follow in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in High Hill, Texas.

The family requests donations be made to:  St. Rose School, Schulenburg, Texas; or St. Mary's Church in High Hill, Texas; or charity of one's choice.

Survivors include:  mother-Ophelia Slaton of Madisonville, Kentucky; wife-Pamela Slaton of Schulenburg; daughters-Myrannda Slaton and Ava Slaton of Schulenburg; sister-Valvetta White of Madisonville, Kentucky; and brothers-Terry Slaton/wife LaDrenna of Madisonville, Kentucky and James Kelly Slaton/wife Kimberly of Russellville, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews; and great nieces and great nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents-James and Sarah Slaton; and sisters-Patricia Slaton and Alysia Slaton.
