Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 6, 2022 at 10:30 am from St. Rose Catholic Church in Schulenburg, Texas.

Visitation will begin at 9 am at the Church, with the Parish and Knights of Columbus rosary to follow at 10 am.

Entombment will be in St. Rose Catholic Mausoleum.

The family requests donations be made to:  St. Rose Catholic Church or a charity of one's choice.

Survivors include:  wife-Helen Shimek of Schulenburg; son-Randy Shimek/wife Dawn of Schulenburg; brother-Roman Shimek/wife Gertie of Hallettsville; sisters-in-law-Joan and Carol Shimek; and brother-in-law-John Klesel/wife Georgie.
