The funeral services for Mrs. Myra Carstens, age 88, will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 10 am from the First United Methodist Church in Schulenburg, Texas.  Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm on Friday, May 2, 2014 at the Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home.  Interment will be in the Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in Hostyn, Texas.

Survivors include: daughters, Martha Butler/husband Dan of Roxboro, NC, Carolyn Peters/husband Patrick of Weimar, TX, Ellen Schreiber/husband Sam of Oakton, VA, Elaine Turner/husband Jay of Coppell, TX; Son Keenan Carstens, Jr. of Houston, TX; 6  grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
