It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Natalie Jane Harriman Lanouette, age 77, of Sun City Center, Florida, who went to be with her Heavenly Father on September 28, 2024, in Luling, Texas, after a courageously fought battle against Lewy Body Dementia.   She passed peacefully surrounded by her children.  Our hearts are broken by what this devastating disease took from her, but we choose to cherish the amazing memories and legacy she has left behind.

Natalie was born on May 27, 1947, in Nashua, New Hampshire, where her artistic talents blossomed early and continued to flourish throughout her life.   She graduated from Laconia High School, New Hampshire, in 1965, then completed an Art Degree in Fashion Illustration from The School of Practical Art in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1967.  Natalie married David Lanouette in 1968, and traveled the world as a devoted military wife and mother, laying the foundation for homes in New Hampshire, Texas, Maryland, Guam, Scotland, Japan, England, and finally settling down in Sun City Center, Florida.

Beyond her artistic achievements, Natalie was a loving mother to her son, David, and daughter, Sarah. She found joy in her rescue pets, was an avid reader, had a passion for gardening, loved bird watching with the Audubon Society, and was an award winning Sun Coaster Lawn Bowler.

Natalie is survived by her children, David Lanouette (with his wife Amy Edwards Lanouette), and Sarah Lanouette McBride (with her partner Christopher Baxter); her grandchildren whom she adored, Rebecca McBride and Andrew McBride; and her older sister, Gail E Lauziere.

Natalie was preceded in death by her mother, Marion Terry Harriman and her father, Maurice Harriman.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 11, 2025, in Riverside Cemetery in Milford, New Hampshire.
