Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 2, 2015 at 10:30 am from the St. Rose Catholic Church in Schulenburg, Texas. Visitation will begin to the public after 5 pm on Wednesday, April 1, 2015. The VFW memorial services will be held at 6:30 pm, followed by the Parish rosary at 7 pm, with both services from the Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home in Schulenburg. Interment will be in the St. Rose Catholic Cemetery, Schulenburg, Texas. Full military services will be conducted at the graveside by the Schulenburg VFW. The family requests donations be made to: The Shriners; Sons of Hermann; or St. Rose Catholic Church. Survivors include: daughter-Patricia Harris/husband Terry of Temple; 5 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
