Patricia "Pat" Joyce Jennings, 89 years of age, passed away on February 1, 2024, in Schulenburg, Texas. Pat was born on September 4, 1934, in Omaha, Nebraska, to the late Irvin and Hazel Ballentine Sommers. She was the eldest of three children; one preceded her in death, Barbara Mair.

Pat met the late Lee Robert Jennings and was married on June 28, 1958, and two children were born from this union. Vicky was born in 1959 (d. 2012), followed by Chris in 1964. The family moved to Oklahoma in 1968, living in Bethany, where they raised their children. In 1982, they moved to Yukon, Oklahoma, where Pat lived until November 2023.

Once settled in Oklahoma, Pat became a member of the Northwest Oklahoma City Rotary Club. She served as president and was Rotarian of the Year 1993-94. Pat was very proud of the "Me and My Shadow" program she started with students at Jackson Middle School and several local businesses, receiving recognition and an award. In 1998, Pat began working as an Aflac Agent and enjoyed helping and connecting with people. She will be greatly missed by all.

Pat was a loving and caring person, devoted wife, mother, and friend, always thinking of others first. Pat leaves to cherish her loving memory her son, Chris and Marchelle Jennings of Schulenburg, Texas; two grandsons: Matthew Jennings and Michael Jennings; one great-grandson: Jett Jennings; and her youngest sister, Jackie and Jerry McAndrews of Waukesha, Wisconsin.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
