Private funeral services will be held from the St. Rose Catholic Church in Schulenburg, Texas on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at 11 am.  The Parish rosary will be recited prior to the mass at 10:30 am from the church.

Interment will be in the St. Rose Catholic Cemetery in Schulenburg, Texas.  The Schulenburg American Legion will conduct full military services at the cemetery.

The family requests donations be made to:  The St. Rose Catholic Church or School, Schulenburg, Texas; or a charity of one's choice.

Survivors include:  daughters-Janice Somyak/husband Bill of Hurricane, UT, Susan K. Jurica of Houston and Carol Jurica Jordan of Schulenburg; sons-Joseph Jurica/wife Delia of Hallettsville, Peter L. Jurica, Jr./wife Connie of New Braunfels and Ronald D. Jurica of Waller; 7 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife-Virginia; son-Daniel Ray; 3 sisters; 6 brothers; and a grandson-Jeremy Jurica.
