Peter Schmidt passed away at his home in Muldoon, Texas, on Friday, December 1, 2023, at the age of 74. He was a chemist and stayed active with South Central Texas Prescribed Burn Association, the City of Houston Underwater Mariners, and Small Acreage Program Prairie Chapter NPAT.

Peter is survived by his siblings, Raymond Schmidt, Vivian Cawood, Suzanne Schmidt, Rosemarie and Jimmy Mattioli, Gregory and Susan Schmidt, George Schmidt, Christopher and Dee Schmidt, Stephen and Jennifer Schmidt, Neil Schmidt, Denis and Murolyn Schmidt; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Karolyn Kendrick.

The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
