Funeral services for Mr. Phil Schaefer, age 75, of Schulenburg, Texas will be held from the First United Methodist Church in Schulenburg on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 2 pm.

Visitation will begin at 1 pm from the Church.

Interment will be in the Schulenburg City Cemetery in Schulenburg. Full military honors will be conducted at the graveside by the Schulenburg VFW and American Legion.

Survivors include: wife-Janice Schaefer of Houston, Texas; sons-Philip Stan Schaefer/wife Paris C. of Portland, Oregon and Stewart R. Schaefer of Houston, Texas; daughters-Rhonda Howard/husband David of Hubbard, Texas and Lee C. Herbrich/husband Richard of La Grange, Texas; sister-Callie Meyer of Austin, Texas; 5 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.

He is preceded in death by his parents and 1 granddaughter.
