The funeral services for Mr. Ralph Whelan, age 46 of Kyle, Texas, will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at 10 am from the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Schulenburg, Texas. The Parish rosary will be recited prior to the funeral mass at 9:30 am Thursday from the church. Interment will be in the St. Rose Catholic Cemetery in Schulenburg.

Survivors include: parents--Thomas and Pauline Whelan of Schulenburg; sisters--Tess Whelan of Vero Beach, Florida and Dee Seyl and husband Rod of Schulenburg; and several nieces and nephews.

Full military services will be conducted at the graveside by the Schulenburg American Legion and VFW.
