The funeral services for Mr. Richard L. Gabler, age 92 of High Hill, Texas, will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 10 am from High Hill Catholic Church.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 pm on Monday, March 16, 2015 at Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home followed by visitation from 5 to 8 pm at High Hill Catholic Church. American Legion and VFW Memorial services will be at 6:30 pm with the Parish rosary at 7 pm.

Interment will be in High Hill Catholic Cemetery. Full Military services will be conducted by the American Legion and VFW at the graveside.

Survivors include: daughter-Katharine/husband Robert H. Henneke of Columbus; sons-David Gabler of Conroe, Bernard Gabler of Victoria, and Leonard/wife Deborah Gabler of La Grange; sisters-in-law-Lorene Gabler of Schulenburg and Joyce Barta of Houston; 7 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 1 great great granddaughter.

Family requests donations be made to: St. Mary's Catholic Church, High Hill, Texas; St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Ammannsville, Texas; or Freyburg United Methodist Church.
