Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 10 am from St. John Catholic Church in St. John, Texas.

Visitation will begin Monday, March 8, 2021 at 5:30 pm from the Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home in Schulenburg, Texas, with the Parish rosary to follow at 7 pm.

Interment will be in St. John Catholic Cemetery in St. John, Texas.

The family requests donations be made to:  St. John Catholic Church Picnic Fund; or St. John Catholic Church Building Fund; or a charity of one's choice.

Survivors include:  parents-Clarence and Evelyn Besetsny of Schulenburg; wife-Pam Besetsny of St. John; son-Curt Besetsny/wife Neely of Houston; sisters-Patsy Canion of Brenham, Annette Walker of Schulenburg and Lynn Heller/husband David of Schulenburg; brother-David Besetsny of Schulenburg; son-in-law-Chris Cahal of Schulenburg; mother-in-law-Margaret Havrda of Schulenburg; and 7 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Nerissa Cahal and sister Susan Joost.
