Family graveside services will be held Thursday, April 30, 2020 at 2pm from the Andrew's Chapel Cemetery.

He called him by name, and in an instant, his world changed.

Robert Bennett Fowlkes, Jr., of Schulenburg, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2020.  He was 72.  Preceding Robert in death are his parents, Irma Ruth Vogelsang Fowlkes and Robert (Nobby) Bennett Fowlkes, Sr.

Robert is survived by his wife, Debbie, son Will/ Alexandria and grandson, William, Jr.; son McKinnon; grandchildren, Alexis Fowlkes, great grandchildren Haven and Kamden Shephard; grandchildren Branson and Kenzie Fowlkes; sister, Mary K Seifert/Chris, niece Summer Henderson/Brent; great-nieces Kayla Henderson, Samantha Henderson; nephew Caleb Seifert/Shannon, great nieces Carlee Kay and Allie Jo Seifert.

Robert graduated from SHS Class of '66 and Sam Houston State University in 1970.

Memorials may be given to SHS Bibles-Fowlkes; or First Baptist Church of  Schulenburg; or Texas Baptist Men Disaster Relief.
