Funeral services for Mrs. Shirley Shimek, age 68 of Schulenburg, Texas, will be held from the St. Rose Catholic Church in Schulenburg on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 10 am.

Visitation will begin to the public after 5 pm on Tuesday, January 27, with the Parish rosary to be recited Tuesday evening at 7 pm from the Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home in Schulenburg.

Interment will be in the St. Rose Catholic Cemetery, Schulenburg, Texas.

Survivors include: husband-Ronald Shimek of Schulenburg, Texas; daughter Sharon Wiggins and husband Jerry of Aberdeen, Maryland; son-Kevin Berger and wife Ashley of Smithville, Texas; sister-Caroline Clark of Victoria, Texas; brothers- Lester Clark and wife Clara and Edward Moeller and wife Jennifer all of Schulenburg, Texas; sisters-in-law-Michelle and Lori Shimek of Schulenburg, Texas; and 8 grandchildren.
