Funeral services will be held from the St. Rose Catholic Church in Schulenburg, Texas on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 10 am.

Visitation will begin to the public after 5 pm on Thursday, March 7, with the Parish rosary to be recited at 7 pm from the Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home in Schulenburg.

Entombment will be in the St. Rose Catholic Mausoleum in Schulenburg, Texas.

The family has requested donations be made to:  St. Rose Catholic Church, Schulenburg, Texas or a charity of one's choice.

Survivors include:  mother-Vi Hartensteiner of Schulenburg; sisters-Carol Rektorik/husband Gary of Houston and Kathy Pyka/husband Greg of Dripping Springs; brother-Mike Hartensteiner/wife Jan of Cypress; sister-in-law-Wanda Hartensteiner of Richmond; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father and brother.
