Funeral services will be held from the St. James Lutheran Church in Ganado, Texas, on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 10:30 am.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 22, 2020 from 5 to 7 pm from the Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home in Schulenburg, Texas.

Interment will be in the Ganado City Cemetery in Ganado, Texas.

Survivors include:  wife-Karen Benton of Flatonia, Texas; daughters-Sarah Klesel/husband Clayton of Schertz, Texas and Rebekah King/husband Lyndon of Edmond, Oklahoma; son-Ethan Benton of Flatonia, Texas; sister-Barbara Stavinoha of Bryan, Texas; brothers-Tom Benton/wife Milana of Needville, Texas, Pat Benton/wife Sherry of Cotula, Texas, Matt Benton/wife Sharon of Moulton, Texas, and Jake Benton/wife Tammy of Hawkins, Texas; and grandchildren-Corbett and Eva Klesel of Schertz, Texas.

The family requests donations be made to:  Colorado River Cowboy Church of Smithville, Texas, or St. James Lutheran Church of Ganado, Texas.
