Funeral Services for Verlene Mae Hoffmann, age 85, of Schulenburg, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 1, 2024, at Zion Lutheran Church in Schulenburg. Interment will follow in Schulenburg City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home, with the American Legion Auxiliary memorial service to begin at 6:30 p.m.

Verlene is survived by her daughters, Brenda Hoffmann of Victoria, Lenora Urban and husband Rodney of Houston; son, Ronald Hoffmann of Victoria; granddaughter, Addison; step-grandson, Christopher; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy Hoffmann; parents; and siblings.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of South Texas, or Zion Lutheran Church in Schulenburg.
