Funeral services for Mr. Vernon Eugene Zimmermann, age 74, of Schulenburg, Texas will be held from First Baptist Church of Schulenburg on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 2 pm.

Visitation will be prior to the funeral at First Baptist Church from 12 pm to 2 pm.

Interment will be in Andrews Chapel Cemetery in Lavaca County, Texas.

The family requests donations be made to First Baptist Church, Schulenburg, Texas or a charity of one's choice.

Survivors include: wife-Fawn Chapman Zimmermann; sons and families-Vernon Zimmermann/wife Laura, Zachary (Kemra) and Jenna; Spence Zimmermann and daughter Randi; James Zimmermann/wife Constance, Beckett, Adler and Maebry; and Chad Zimmermann/wife Jamie, Noah and Roman; sisters-Maxine Tudyk and Gloria Lieke/husband R.W.; brothers-in-law-Jeff Chapman/wife Diana and David Chapman; and beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Adela (Otto) and Emil Zimmermann.
