The funeral services for Virginia "Jeannie" Holub, age 67 of High Hill, Texas, will be held from the St. Mary's Catholic Church in High Hill on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at 10 am. Visitation will begin to the public after 5 pm on Monday, November 4 with the Parish Rosary being recited Monday evening at 7 pm from the Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home in Schulenburg, Texas. Interment will be in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, High Hill, Texas. Survivors include: husband, James Holub of High Hill; 2 daughters, Teresa Nidey and husband, Drew of Hallettsville and Sandra Keepers and husband, Jason of Frelsburg; 2 sisters, Sister Denise Demel of San Antonio and Estelle Stang and husband, Franklin of High Hill; 2 brothers, Elroy Demel and wife, Mary of High Hill and Wilbert Demel and wife, Bibianna of High Hill; 2 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Elsie Hollas Demel. Family requests donations be made to: High Hill Restoration Fund; Hospice of South Texas; or a charity of one's choice.
